ABOUT
US AND OUR PRODUCTS
Fluid Service Technologies, Ltd. focuses on providing some of the simplest, most cost effective vehicle service equipment in the market today. Using our extensive experience in the "Fast Lube" industry, our equipment designs meet the needs of today's fast paced service industry, while delivering continued performance to vehicle owners who use these services on a regular basis.
Transmission Service
The number one reason for transmission failure is fluid breakdown. Over time, the automatic transmission fluid (ATF) becomes contaminated and loses its viscosity and the ability to lubricate the moving parts within the transmission. Conventional service methods of dropping the pan and changing the filter result in only about 30-40% of the total ATF in the transmission being drained out. That leaves 60-70% of the old ATF to be mixed with the new ATF introduced during service. Therefore, adequate lubrication is not achieved.
The Tranny Flusher replaces 100% of the old ATF with new, using a process much like a blood transfusion. As old ATF flows into the Tranny Flusher, new ATF is reintroduced into the transmission, including the torque converter and cooling lines. The net result is the revitalization of the transmission lubrication to virtually new specifications.
The Industrial Tranny Flusher performs the same service on larger transmissions used in fleet vehicles such as school buses, garbage trucks, and commercial rental vehicles
Engine Coolant Service
Improper cooling system maintenance is the leading cause of "Roadside Breakdown". Over time, antifreeze loses its ability to lubricate the water pump, and inhibit rust in the cooling system. The coolant becomes laden with soluble metals, which eventually clog up the radiator, heater core, engine and sensors. The engine runs hotter, sensors send inaccurate information to the vehicle's computer, resulting in poorer fuel economy and a hotter running engine.
The Cooling Flusher does a complete coolant exchange within minutes. Using a reverse flow process, the service does not require the engine to be running during the process. It incorporates an on board suction pump and the automatic shut off feature allows the technician to work on other tasks during the service.
Engine Oil Flushing
Most vehicle owners are aware of the need to change engine oil and filter on a regular basis. Many people are not aware that as much as 20% of the old oil remains in the engine after an oil change. Also, over time, the heat generated inside the engine results in the build up of varnish and suspended sludge. These contaminants are not removed during a simple "oil change".
The Engine Flusher removes all the old oil and introduces a chemical which is formulated to clean the built up contaminants from the internal parts of the engine. It will then re-lubricate all of the engine's internal parts, ensuring longer engine life.
